Students from other school districts in Wisconsin are welcome to apply to the School District of Janesville’s ARISE Virtual Academy under Open Enrollment. For more information about the open enrollment program you can visit the following website: http://dpi.wi.gov/sms/psctoc.html

If you would like an application for open enrollment or have specific questions about the open enrollment process you can contact:

Dr. David Parr, Dean of Students
450 N. Crosby Ave.
Janesville, WI 53548
(608) 743 - 6016

Please note: The open enrollment program is administered by the State of Wisconsin and there are statutory procedures and timelines the school district is required to follow.

The application period for the upcoming school year starts the first Monday in February and ends at 4:00 pm on the last weekday in April.

However, there are a number of exceptions to this open enrollment period policy.

If you have missed the deadline and feel your situation may qualify please contact Dr. David Parr at 608-743-6016 immediately.

If your child is approved to attend the ARISE Virtual Academy through Open Enrollment you will be required to complete the general ARISE Virtual Academy application and enrollment in the School District of Janesville in order to be able to have your child attend the ARISE Virtual Academy.

ARISE Virtual Academy offers a one week Trial/Orientation period for students to see if it is a good educational fit for them. During this one week Trial/Orientation period, students are not considered enrolled at ARISE Virtual Academy. Students need to continue to attend the school they are currently enrolled at until successfully completing the Trial/Orientation period and registering at ARISE Virtual Academy.
